Donna M. Jackson first became fascinated with forensics when she interviewed bone detective Dr. Michael Charney for a newspaper article. An award-winning writer whose articles have appeared in many publications, she has also published fictional stories in magazines for young readers and writes a monthly children's book column for the Greeley Tribune. Ms. Jackson earned her master's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She lives in Louisville, Colorado, with her husband, Charlie, and their son, Chris. This was her first book for children.
